MONO COUNTY LIES SMACK DAB IN THE MIDDLE
OF CALIFORNIA'S MOST BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY.

-- Mono Lake --

At 6,400 feet elevation and approximately 500,000 years of age, it is one of the oldest lakes in the United States.

-- Bodie State Historic Park --

One of the best preserved ghost towns in the United States, it is set among low rolling hills, miles from the closest modern town. In the 1800s it was home to the notorious Badman from Bodie, Lady of the Night Rosa May, President Hoover's brother, and the famous one-armed attorney, Pat Reddy.
